intermezzo: holidays for a new life
After my exams several things happened:
I went to Switzerland (Bern, Zurich and Geneva)
I moved out from Passfield Hall to a friend's place in Vauxhall
I went to Manchester for 3 days
I got back to the office in my (almost) new role as assistant.
*
Switzerland is the perfect land... who never went there will miss the opportunity of seeing a place that do well in almost everything. The main cities are incredibly beautiful, all have different atmospheres and peculiar places to visit, particular things to see.
And when you are in company of great friends, everything is always thousand times better. Moments that last longer in our minds.

Moving is such a pain! Gosh! I had to leave my uni dorm and found a new home with my friend Fred in Vauxhall. The place is known as a gay area, with loads of night clubs and spas. Someone once told me is full of Brazillians - which is true.
I have 3 flatmates: 2 enrolled in war studies and 1 in architecture. 2 British and 1 half British half Brazilian.
Now I live in the south of the river.... but I am still near my dear Ben.
***
Manchester is the English Belo Horizonte: a bit of countryside but a metropole as well. Important music scenes and artists came from there... and there is even a regional pride.
I went to an art festival where I ate ice cream with black olives syrup... funny taste :) Loads of drinks... loads of rock n' roll.... loads of fun!
****
It seems that I've been out of the office for 2 months, but in fact was only two weeks. I knew my new boss previously because he was an intern in the office before me, we met in a welcome dinner in January. He is great! He believes in European identity! He is very young and funny! He even moved to Vauxhall too! I can see hard work (and fun) coming while I am here.

An intermezzo before a new life. Will it be really a new life or in fact that will be the intermezzo for something new? ... Just time will tell.
